Screw Thread Insert Modified Bottom Tap

High Speed Steel (STI) Screw Thread Insert Taps are designed to thread a hole that will only accommodate a helical coil wire screw thread insert. STI Tap produce a slightly oversized pitch diameter to accept a helical coil wire screw thread insert of the same nominal size and pitch. Screw Tapping Tool are used primarily to repair damaged threads in soft materials but can be used to tap most materials.
For use with wire Inserts for thread repair applications.
