Slotted 302 Self-Tapping Threaded Inserts. Available in brass, case hardened zinc and A1 stainless steel. 302 Self Tapping Threaded Inserts are used by all major plastic moulders and manufacturers due to their easy installation method. External and internal pitch is standard metric thread. Can be installed quickly with a hand tool. The slotted leading end helps to break away swarf during the tapping / insertion process.

302 Self-Tapping Insert is recommended used in most applications. In some materials,they provide perfect specific a screw thread lock effect. They provide permanent wear-resistant threads in a wide range of materials, from tough to tap, high strength steels to brittle plastics.
